Your first grid strategy (5 minutes)
A grid strategy buys low and sells high in ranging markets — the easiest built-in strategy to start with.
1. Create a strategy
- Go to the Strategies page → top-right "New".
- A three-step wizard: ① pick a type → ② symbol + timeframe → ③ parameters & risk.
2. Start from a template
The "Strategy Templates" section sits at the top of the parameter step:
- Low volatility: wide range, fewer grids, higher profit per grid.
- High volatility: narrow-range dense grids, higher capital utilization.
Tap a template card to auto-fill the parameters, then continue.
3. Confirm the key settings
- Symbol: start with a major coin like
BTCUSDT. - Interval: 1H is a good balance.
- Range: the grid only trades inside its bounds; set upper/lower near the current price.
4. Size and risk
- Position size: start with a small share of equity (10–30%), then scale after you're comfortable.
- Enable risk controls (daily loss cap, emergency stop). They don't remove risk but they backstop it.
5. Start and watch
- Click "Create & Start"; orders start placing immediately.
- Check fills and cumulative PnL on the Strategies page. Grid profits come from repeated oscillation — the flatter the range, the better.
6. Validate on paper first
We strongly suggest running paper trading for a few days before going live (see "Paper → Live").
