Install Qovex

This page walks you through installation and first launch — about 3 minutes.

Platforms: Windows 10/11, macOS (Intel/Apple Silicon), Android. On Windows, if "Windows protected your PC" appears, click "More info → Run anyway".

1. Get the installer

• Grab your platform's package from the official site or our Discord/Telegram group.
• Windows: unzip and run Qovex.exe, or run the setup wizard.
• macOS: drag the .dmg into the Applications folder.
• Android: install the .apk (allow "Unknown sources" on first run).

2. Windows SmartScreen note

Unsigned dev builds trigger a SmartScreen prompt the first time. This is expected:

we are rolling out per-machine code signing so the official build won't warn. For now click "More info → Run anyway".

3. First launch

• The setup wizard lets you choose the language and accept the Terms of Service.
• It guides you to connect an exchange API key (see "Connect your API key") and pick a run mode (paper trading recommended first).
• After setup you land on the main screen: navigation on the left, account/strategy overview in the center.

4. Something wrong?

See "FAQ"; or ask in the group and attach the log from Settings → Diagnostics → Export diagnostics.
